Cairo – Mubasher: Berlin-based Siemens AG has renewed its offer to supply the Egyptian National Railways (ENR) with 100 locomotives, the country’s transport minister Kamel El-Wazir said.
The transportation ministry will select the best technical and financial offers submitted for supplying 100 locomotives, El-Wazir added in a statement on Wednesday.
It is noteworthy that the German industrial conglomerate is modernising electrical signalling equipment for the 214-kilometre Zagazig - Abu Kebir route.
