Sinai Cement turns a profit in Q2

Cairo – Mubasher: Sinai Cement turned into profits during the second quarter of 2016, a bourse statement revealed.

The company earned EGP 52.9 million in Q2 against EGP 18.5 million losses in the year-ago quarter.

On a six-month basis, the cement producer registered EGP 14.8 million in the first half of 2016 versus EGP 29.4 million profits in H1-15.

Over the first half as well, sales went up to EGP 630 million from EGP 564.9 million for the prior-year period.

By 11:23am Cairo time, the stock quote was 3.60% down to EGP 23 after changing 430 shares worth EGP 9,780.
