Cairo – Mubasher: The trade exchange between Egypt and China is expected to increase by more than 24% year-on-year during 2020, head of Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, Ahmed Mohamed El Wakeel stated on Saturday.
Around 1,340 Chinese companies are set to inject $600 million investments in Egypt this year, El Wakeel added, according to the Middle East News Agency.
The top official stressed China’s significant role as a key trade partner of members of the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) which includes 18 million companies.
