Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi International Petrochemical (Sipchem) announced that the technical issue at Carbon Monoxide Plant of its International Gasses Company (IGC) has been resolved and it resumed operation.
“Acetic Acid of the International Acetate Company (IAC) and Ethyl Acetate of Sipchem Chemicals Company (SCC) are now operating with full production capacity,” according to a bourse filing on Monday.
The financial impact was estimated by SAR 17 million and will appear in the third quarter of 2016.
Sipchem announced that a technical issue took place at the Carbon Monoxide plant on Thursday, 11 August, which led to the reduction of operating capacity of IAC and SCC.
