UAE - Mubasher: SirajPower has entered into a long-term solar partnership with Al Shirawi Group to install a 7 MWp solar rooftop for Emirates Printing Press.
The solar rooftop will be installed in three of Emirates Printing Press's plants, one of the high-quality press facilities in Dubai Industrial City (DIC) and Al Quoz, according to a press release on Tuesday.
Spanning over an area of 56,000 m2, the solar rooftop project will generate 10.6 GWh of clean energy annually, reducing over 7,000 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions.
Commenting on the agreement, the Chairman of SirajPower, Mohammed Abdulghaffar Hussain, said: "Over a very short period of time, many local conglomerates have joined our journey to a greener economy, and this further strengthens our position as the preferred solar partner for major UAE groups."
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Al Shirawi Group of Companies, Mohamed Al Shirawi, commented: "SirajPower's impressive track record of successfully working with reputable UAE conglomerates from various industries such as Al Ghurair, Mir Hashem Khoory Group (MHK), Bin Dasmal Group, and Airlink International UAE played a key role in our decision."
