Sisi approves EUR 63.6m funding from European Commission

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s president Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a presidential decree to approve a financing agreement worth EUR 63.6 million with the European Commission.

The deal aims to support a programme which works on enhancing the country’s response to migration challenges, the official gazette reported on Thursday.

On 14 April, Egypt’s parliament approved the agreement which was previously signed on 17 October 2018 in Brussels.
