Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has inaugurated via video conference the 30 June axis road, which is 210 kilometres (km) in length, Ahram Gate reported on Tuesday.
The total cost of the project has reached EGP 8.5 billion, the Egyptian minster of housing Assem El-Gazzar revealed.
The project will help boost internal trade and reduce travelling time between Cairo and Suez Canal cities, he noted.
The housing minister said that a total of 292 road projects are being established between 2014 and 2020.
