Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session down, pressured by the fall of six sectors.
By 09:45 am Qatar time, the main index fell 23.12 points, or 0.24 %, to 10,210.76 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 13.83 million after 1.04 million shares were traded through 765 transactions.
The industrial sector topped the decliners falling 0.32% as Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding went down 2.07%, while the banking sector plunged 0.22% due to Islamic Holding Group’s 3.45% drop.
On the other hand, the real estate sector was the bourse’s only gainer adding 0.20% after United Development Company grew 1.12%.
QAMCO’s stock, which levelled up 0.46%, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 910,010 shares, generating QAR 11.88 million in liquidity.
