Riyadh – Mubasher: Chairman of SoftBank Group Corp, Masayoshi Son, will meet Saudi King Salman on Tuesday in Tokyo, sources told Reuters.
The meeting comes along with both parties’ plans to create a $100 billion technology-investment fund, the news agency added.
Reuters noted that the source did not have further details on the meeting between the investor and the King.
King Salman started an Asian tour on 26 February 2017, among which he visited Japan on 12 March.
On 8 March, SoftBank announced that it will transfer an $8 billion stake in British ARM into a technology investment fund it has created with Saudi Arabia, according to the Financial Times.
