Kuwait – Mubasher: Sokouk Holding incurred a loss of nearly KWD 883,350 ($2.9 million) during the first quarter of 2017, 35.6% higher than about KWD 651,330 ($2.14 million) in the same period in 2016.
The company posted operating losses of around KWD 754,340 in Q1-17, compared to nearly KWD 513,660 in Q1-16 - a year-on-year increase of 46.9%, according to a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.
At the stock level, Sokouk gained 2.3% to close Wednesday’s session at 44.5 fils.
