Mubasher: Sokouk Holding Company on Thursday posted a 23.8% rise in its losses during the fourth quarter of 2017.
Losses widened to KWD 5.56 million ($18.55 million) in Q4-17, up from KWD 4.49 million ($14.99 million) in Q4-16, according to the company’s statement to Boursa Kuwait.
Sokouk’s losses declined 24.3% to KWD 5.11 million during the full-year 2017, versus KWD 6.75 million in the prior year.
The decrease of the annual loss was attributable to a hike in operating revenues, along with an improvement in associate firms' performance.
By the end of Thursday’s trade, Sokouk’s stock decreased 2.49% at 41.5 fils.
