Riyadh-Mubasher: Solidarity Saudi Takaful posted accumulated losses of SAR 325 million until the end of January 2016, representing 58.57% of capital.
The insurer recorded SAR 871 million in net earnings before zakah in January.
Shareholders' equity totalled SAR 363,000, and the earnings per share before zakah hit SAR 0.02.
According to market regulations, the companies whose accumulated losses exceed 50% of capital are required to release their financials on a monthly basis.
