Dubai – Mubasher: Most of GCC stock markets saw a mixed performance in Wednesday’s early trades, after Eid Al Fitr holiday.
The Dubai Financial Market (DFM), Abu Dhabi Securities Market (ADX), Boursa Kuwait, and Bahrain Bourse started their trading activities today, whereas the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), and the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) did not resume their trades yet.
By 11:00 am, UAE time, DFM opened Wednesday in the green zone after rising 0.16% with a trading volume of 38 million shares exchanged through 970 transactions, generating AED 60 million.
On the other hand, ADX shed 0.11%, after 16 million shares were exchanged, with a turnover of AED 30 million, through 300 transactions.
By 10:00 am, Kuwait time, the benchmark index decreased 0.12%, after 13 million shares were traded, with a liquidity of KWD 2.2 million, through 357 transactions.
Bahrain Bourse did not witness any active trades during the same time.
