Riyadh-Mubasher: Southern Province Cement recorded net earnings of SAR 298 million in Q4-15, rising 22% compared with SAR 245 million in the year-ago period.
The profit growth was driven by increase in sales and other revenues, in addition to low cost of sales, the cement producer said.
FY15 net income fell 0.77% year-on-year from SAR 1.045 billion to SAR 1.037 billion.
The company said despite rise in sales, its full-year net income declined due to the one-off revenues recorded in 2014, because of selling a stake in TAQA.
