Riyadh-Mubasher: Southern Province Cement Co. said a fire broke out at one of its plants on Friday, and was quickly contained and no injuries occurred.
The fire does not have any financial impact on the company, the cement producer said in a statement to the Saudi bourse.
In addition, the production and sales were not impacted by the fire as the company took the necessary procedures.
The cement producer posted net earnings of SAR 298 million for the fourth quarter of 2015, a rise of 22% compared with SAR 245 million in the same period of 2014.
