Riyadh-Mubasher: Southern Province Cement launched on Monday the commercial operations at the third line of its Tihama plant, with a production capacity of 5,000 tonnes of clinker per day, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The cement producer aims to increase the plant’s capacity to 15,000 of clinker per day.
Accordingly, the total capacity of the company’s three plants reaches nearly 28,000 tonnes of clinker per day.
The relevant financial impact is likely to appear in the fourth quarter of 2015, the statement added.
