Mubasher: Amadeus, listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange, announced the appointment of Karim Eldeghedy to become the Senior Manager - Pre-Sales and Solutions Adoption for the company’s team in Oman.
This step was considered to enhance the growth of Oman’s travel market.
Eldeghedy will relocate to Oman from Amadeus’ MENA regional office in Dubai, the UAE, where he has realised a strong track record of business growth as well as customer satisfaction over the past five years.
Eldeghedy has previously worked, as part of his 20-year experience, with other large multinational companies such as Sabre Travel Network Middle East and at the Bahrain Institute of Technology, according to a press release on Wednesday.
Eldeghedy commented, “Today, Oman is one of the most promising markets in the MENA region for Amadeus and represents a huge untapped potential for the company.”
Amadeus currently builds critical solutions that can help airlines and airports, hotels, search engines, travel agencies, tour operators and other travel players to manage their operations, with dedicated staff across 190 countries worldwide.
