Cairo – Mubasher: Speed Medical Company announced that its 30%-owned subsidiary Prime Speed for Medical Services has been awarded the sole accredited official agent and distributor in Egypt for the US-based Cellex Incorporated, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
Cellex Incorporated is the first company to receive the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) approval for an antibody test for the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Prime Speed for Medical Services has been established by Speed Medical in partnership with Modern Solutions Company, Prime Egypt Group’s chairman Tamer Waguih, and other businessmen including Mahmoud Farag and Ayman Sabry.
It is worth mentioning that in 2019, Speed Medical logged net profits of EGP 17.09 million, up from EGP 12.7 million a year earlier, including minority shareholders’ rights.
