UAE – Mubasher: Spinneys, a leading supermarket chain in the Middle East, announced it will officially open its second store in the emirate of Ajman on Thursday, 30 May.
Spanning over more than 14,000 square feet, the full-service supermarket store will offer over 35 new jobs for the local community, according to a press release.
The new Ajman store will be Spinneys’ 58th store in the UAE, featuring various services including an in-store bakery, fresh cold and hot deli, a butchery, tasty fruits and vegetables, mixed salads, prepared food to go, and everyday staples.
Commenting on the new opening, general manager marketing Morne Fourie said: “With our continued focus on expansion throughout 2019, opening our second store in Ajman reinforces Spinneys’ footprint across the emirate.
“Al Jurf community offers a diverse selection of retail and dining attractions and we’re delighted to bring our fresh food offering to local shoppers in Ajman,” he added.
Furthermore, Spinneys plans to open a further eight supermarkets this year at Jumeirah Golf Estate, Damac Hills, Dubai Creek Residences, and Meydan in Dubai, and Al Maryah Central in Abu Dhabi.
