Mubasher: The British pound dropped to the lowest level in 31 years against a basket of peers after the UK voted to exit the European Union (EU).
The value of sterling slumped 10% to $1.3304 by 8:37am GMT, according to MarketWatch
The pound also declined 15.5% against the yen and around 6.5% against the euro.
