Cairo – Mubasher: Suez Canal Bank on Monday posted a slight increase in its profits for the first three months of 2018, compared to the year-ago period.
The Egypt-based lender generated a profit of EGP 115.3 million in the three-month period ended March 2018, up from EGP 112.4 million in Q1-17, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The EGX-listed bank’s net income fell to EGP 204.11 million in Q1-18, from EGP 242.12 million in the comparative period of 2017.
