Cairo – Mubasher: Suez Canal Bank on Sunday posted a 69.7% year-on-year hike in profits for the full-year 2017.
Net profits totalled EGP 355.8 million last year, compared to EGP 209.7 million a year earlier, the bank said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Net income increased to EGP 1.01 billion in 2017, versus EGP 808.18 million in the year before.
Given that Suez Canal Bank had previously reported an EGP 94.5 million in profits for the third quarter of 2017, against zero profits in the corresponding period the previous year.
