Cairo – Mubasher: Revenues of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) rose by 5.4% year-on-year during fiscal year 2018/2019, head of SCA and the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Mohab Mamsih said.
Over the twelve-month period ended 30 June, the SCA generated revenues of $5.9 billion, up $300 million from FY17/18, he added during a press conference on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the new Suez Canal’s inauguration.
A total of $25 billion has been invested in 192 projects in the SCZone, Mamsih revealed.
The SCZone also aims to attract investments worth $55 billion over the coming 15 years, he noted.
