Cairo – Mubasher: The revenues of Suez Canal declined by 4.8% in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
CBE said in its report on Saturday that the revenues reached $1.3 billion in the three-month period that ended on 30 September, compared to $1.366 billion in the same period last year.
The CBE announced earlier that the canal income went down by 4.5% in the fiscal year 2015-2016 as it totaled $5.1 billion.
