Cairo – Mubasher: Suez Canal’s toll fees rose 0.6% in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2017/2018, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Suez Canal’s toll fees grew to $1.38 billion in the three-month period ended 30 September 2017, compared to $1.3 billion in the year-ago period, CBE added.
The canal's revenues surged 17.1% year-on-year in November, said Mohab Mameesh, Suez Canal’s chairman and managing director.
