Cairo – Mubasher: Suez Customs issued clearance for 261 vehicles at a total value of EGP 46.22 million during June.
A total of 239 passenger cars and three disability cars at a value of 39.418 million have been released, according to a statement on Monday.
The customs authority collected EGP 16.624 million in taxes and customs duties for these cars, along with value-added taxes (VAT) of EGP 8.817 million.
Moreover, 19 trucks and microbuses at a value of EGP 6.798 million have been released during June. The authority collected EGP 1.812 million in taxes and customs duties and EGP 1.263 million in VAT and other charges.
