Cairo – Mubasher: Centamin plc on Wednesday reported a 13% year-on-year decline in gold production from its Egypt flagship Sukari mine in 2018 to 472,400 ounces from 544,658.
Quarter-on-quarter, gold production rose 17% to 137,600 ounces in the fourth quarter of 2018, versus 117,700 ounces in the third quarter of the same year, the Jersey-based gold miner said in a statement.
Centamin previously reported its gold production from Sukari mine dropped by 1.17% to 544,600 ounces in 2017, versus 551,030 ounces a year earlier.
