Kuwait-Mubasher: Sultan Center Food reported a 5.6% growth in earnings of the first quarter this year as compared to the same period in 2015, according to a bourse filing issued Monday.
The company’s profits increased to nearly KWD 449,200 ($1.49 million) in Q1-16, from about KWD 425,200 ($1.41 million) in Q1-15.
Sultan Center clarified that the increase in Q1 profits was backed by the rise in operating revenues and profits.
Sultan Center stock reached 60 fils by the first hour of Monday’s session, as nearly 20,400 shares were traded at a value of about KWD 1,220.
