Kuwait - Mubasher: Sultan Center Food reported a 79.8% rise in profits year-on-year in the second quarter of 2017.
Profits reached KWD 1.17 million ($3.88 million) in Q2-17, compared to KWD 650,810 ($2.16 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse filing.
In the first half of 2017, profits grew 25.5% to KWD 1.38 million from KWD 1.1 million in the prior-year period.
The profit rise is mainly attributed to an increase in operating profits by 283.4% in H1-17 to KWD 1.37 million from KWD 357,360 in the prior-year period.
