Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s ministry of supply has signed eight partnership agreements with a slew of investors to set up logistics areas in the governorates of Sharkia, Menoufia, Gharbia, Beheira, Luxor, Qena, and Fayoum, as well as New Obour city.
With an estimated cost of EGP 25 billion, these projects will create about 200,000 direct and indirect jobs, assistant to the supply minister Ibrahim Ashmawy said.
The new projects include business centres and logistics areas that will provide the needs of citizens at affordable prices, he added.
During the current fiscal year, the Egyptian Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) plans to offer investment opportunities in the remaining governorates.
