Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance in Wednesday’s early trades, weighed down by the downtrend of most sectors led by the energy and telecom sectors.
The general index retreated 0.22% or 9.7 points to 4,315.54 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The energy sector was the worst performer after falling 1.8%, pressured by Dana Gas which slid 1.8%.
The telecom sector levelled down 0.28% due to a decline in Etisalat.
The real estate sector decreased 0.2% as Eshraq Properties lost 2.6%.
On the other hand, the banks sector rose 0.03%.
Turnover reached AED 11.93 million after trading 7.96 million shares through 156 transactions.
