Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) is expected to start oil production in Atrush Field, Iraqi Kurdistan, by mid-2016, the company’s Chairman, Saeed Al Hajeri, said on Wednesday.
“Trial operation of the Atrush Field project is set to start in the second quarter of 2016, and production will be started by mid-2016,” Al Hajeri added on the side-lines of the company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM).
Al Hajeri clarified that the first phase will provide 30,000 barrels per day, and the company completed about 80% of the construction work so far.
