Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday with a negative performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 9.13 points, or 0.11%, reaching 8,463.37 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 18.3 million shares exchanged through 15,750 transactions at a turnover of SAR 383.86 million.
The commercial and professional services sector led losers with 1.08%, followed by the healthcare sector with 0.54%.
The telecommunication services, banking and materials sectors shed 0.37%, 0.14%, and 0.02%, respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer services sector topped risers with 0.58%, and the energy sector inched up 0.44%.
Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons Company’s stock was the worst performer with 2.43%, while the stock of Al Ahlia for Cooperative Insurance was the best performer with 2.45%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 7.59 points, or 0.21%, to 3,604.94 points.
Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company’s stock led gainers with 2.77%.
The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index, fell 2.25 points, or 0.18%, to 1,248.21 points.
