Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday’s trading session in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 4.45 points, or 0.05%, reaching 8,560.9 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 16.6 million shares exchanged through 14,250 exchanged transactions at a turnover of SAR 305.2 million.
The consumer services, media, telecommunication services, materials, and banking sectors went down 0.58%, 0.4%, 0.19%, 0.15%, and 0.05%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector led gainers with 0.73%, while the real estate management and development inched up 0.6%.
AXA Cooperative Insurance’s stock was the worst performer with 1.57%, while the stock of Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co was the best performer after jumping 9.93%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 8.21 points, or 0.22%, to 3,658.89 points.
Baazeem Trading Co’s stock levelled up 2.26%.
The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index, tumbled 0.78 points, or 0.06%, reaching 1,262.18 points.
