Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Thursday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 12.4 points, or 0.14%, to 8,629.6 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 17.4 million shares exchanged through 14,000 transactions at a turnover of SAR 330.3 million.
The telecommunication services, banking, and materials sectors grew 0.4%, 0.16%, and 0.15%, respectively.
On the other hand, the capital goods sector inched down 0.6%, while the transportation sector shed 0.15%.
City Cement Company’s stock led gainers with 2.68%, while the stock of Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons Company was the worst performer with 9.98%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell 139.82 points, or 4.06%, to 3,305.29 points.
National Building and Marketing Co’s stock led losers with 17.21%, while Alomran Industrial Trading Company’s stock topped gainers with 5.88%.
The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index, rose 0.53 points, or 0.04%, to 1,275.06 points.
