Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday’s trading activities in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 41.15 points, or 0.48%, to 8,665.07 points.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 29.14 million shares exchanged through 23,600 transactions at a turnover of SAR 759.5 million.
The banking and materials sectors inched up 0.8% and 0.6%, respectively.
On the other hand, the utilities sector decreased 2.45%, while the telecommunication services sector inched down 0.11%.
Tabuk Agricultural Development Company’s stock led gainers with 5.6%, while Trade Union Cooperative Insurance Co.’s stock was the worst performer with 5.66%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, tumbled 34.32 points, or 1.08%, to 3,133.76 points.
Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer with 2.53%, while the stock of Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company led gainers with 0.62%.
The joint index between MSCI and Tadawul, MT30 index levelled up 7.14 points, or 0.56%, to 1,279.08 points.
