Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up 41.4 points, or 0.49%, to 8,487.5 points.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 23.4 million shares, through 19,000 transactions, generating SAR 560 million.
The telecommunication services, banks, and materials sectors grew 1.03%, 0.63%, and 0.34%, respectively.
On the other hand, the transportation sector led losers with 0.53%, while the diversified financials sector shed 0.44%.
The Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock led gainers with 3.05%, whereas Takween Advanced Industries’ stock led losers with 5.8%.
In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell 3.12 points, or 0.08%, to 3,685.67 points.
Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer with 1.54%.
The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index levelled up 7.52 points, or 0.6%, to 1,253.24 points.
