Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Sunday’s trading session with positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 22.4 points, or 0.25%, reaching 9,086.26 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 19.24 million shares exchanged through 17,400 transactions with a turnover of SAR 507.4 million.
The real estate management and development sector led gainers with 0.6%, and the banking sector inched up 0.48%.
On the other hand, the media and entertainment sector was the worst performer with 0.59%, followed by the telecommunication services and materials sectors with 0.17% and 0.13%, respectively.
AXA Cooperative Insurance’s stock topped risers with 3.75%, while City Cement Company’s stock led losers with 2.3%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained unchanged, while the joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index grew 3.61 points, or 0.27%, to 1,354.53 points.
