TASI, NOMU close Monday down

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday in the red zone after the main index decreased 0.3% or 21.7 points reaching 7,094.2 points, registering its decline for the sixth consecutive trading session.

The Tadawul All Share Index’s (TASI) trading volume stood at 109.7 million shares through 85,000 transactions, generating SAR 2.8 billion.

Mediterranean & Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Company (MedGulf) retreated 7.3% to SAR 16.24, and Saudi Printing and Packaging’s stock decreased 5.8% to SAR 17.76.

On the other hand, Middle East Paper Co (MEPCO) surged 9.9% to SAR 15.72, and Tourism Enterprises Company’s (Shams) stock levelled up 9.7% to SAR 31.4.

Meanwhile, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market tumbled 0.47% or 17.9 points to reach 3,760.5 points.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock decreased 7.2%, closing at SAR 12.7, followed by Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock with 6.9% at SAR 66.4, whereas Development Works Food’s stock increased 4.4% at SAR 68.
