TASI, NOMU close Tuesday in red

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session in the red.

The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) lost 0.45% or 31.55 points and closed at 6,933.28 points.

Traded values reached SAR 3.53 billion, with 250.54 million traded shares through 62,450 transactions.

As for the market sectors’ performance, 17 sectors closed down, led by media and publishing which lost 2.6%, followed by REITs with 2.2%.

On the other hand, food and beverages went up 0.99%, while healthcare and pharmaceuticals rose 0.7% and 0.28% respectively.

It is also worth noting that, materials, banks, and telecom slipped 0.97%, 0.24%, and 0.19% respectively.

Al Asmak led the declining stocks as it dropped 4%, while Alandalus was the top gainer and surged 3.95%.

Dar Al Arkan was the most active in both traded volumes and values with 146.25 million shares, and a turnover of SAR 992.87 million.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market went down 0.44% or 17.98 points, and closed at the level of 4,099.13 points.

Traded values amounted to SAR 1.14 million, with a volume of 44,090 shares and 83 transactions.
