TASI, NOMU close Wednesday in green

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Wednesday in green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.65% or 47.48 points reaching 7,306.12 points.

The rise was backed by positive performance in all sectors; however, the market turnover recorded its lowest level since June.

TASI’s traded value decreased to SAR 1.75 billion ($467 million) from SAR 2.4 billion ($640 million) in the previous session on Tuesday, 29 August.

Trading volume declined to 75.7 million shares from 112 million shares in the previous session.

The media sector led the gainers, with 9.25%, followed by the bank, materials, and telecommunications sectors with 2.79%, 0.49%, and 0.26%, respectively.

The healthcare sector led the losers with 0.55%, followed by the insurance sector with 0.52%.

On the other hand, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 0.26% or 9.09 points to reach 3,487.26 points.
