Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) decreased 0.28% or 19.63 points to reach 7,096.21 points in Monday’s early trades.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, trading volume reached 20.64 million shares through 17,170 transactions, at a value of SAR 533.28 million.
The materials, food and beverages, utilities, and banks sectors levelled down 0.63%, 0.5%, 0.4%, and 0.2%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector rose 3%, the pharmaceuticals sector increased 0.3%, and the telecommunication services sector inched up 0.01%.
Malath Cooperative Insurance’s stock tumbled 3%, whereas Middle East Paper Company’s (MEPCO) stock went up 6.2%.
In the meantime, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market slipped 0.06% or 2.29 points, reaching 3,776.10 points.
Raydan Co’s stock shed 0.17%, whereas Development Works Food's and Arab Sea Information System's stocks grew 1.80% and 1.76%, respectively.
