TASI, NOMU open in green Sunday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday and the week on a positive note, extending the previous week’s gains as all of its sectors traded higher with the exception of the pharmaceuticals sector, which was stable.

By 10:45 am Saudi time, the benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 0.42% or 32.3 points to reach 7,781.6 points

Turnover amounted to AED 253 million after 11.2 million shares changed hands through 13,370 transactions.

The commercial services sector led risers with 0.81%, followed by banks with 0.52%, and materials and telecommunications with 0.51% and 0.25%, respectively.

Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. led TASI’s gainers, rising 3.75%, while NADEC led fallers, losing 1.08%.

In the meantime, the Nomu Parallel Market Index “NOMU” added 0.52% or 12.75 points to 2,454.4 points. Al-Omran Industrial Trading led risers, surging 9.26%. None of NOMU’s stocks was in the red.
