TASI, Nomu close Sunday up

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday in the green zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.24% or 17.34 points to reach 7,377.95 points.

TASI’s traded volume stood at 128 million exchanged shares, with a liquidity of SAR 2.68 billion.

The insurance sector rose 1.12%, followed by materials with 0.59%, telecommunication services with 0.22%, and banks with 0.19%.

On the flipside, the commercial and professional services sector shed 0.54%.

Nama Chemicals’ stock topped TASI’s risers with 9.9%, closing at SAR 21.46, with a turnover of SAR 36.4 million, whereas the Saudi Research and Marketing Group’s stock was the worst performer with 1.56%, closing at SAR 75.

In the meantime, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market (NOMU) levelled up 0.11% or 3.76 points reaching 3,485.09 points.

Nomu’s trading volume amounted to 69,300 exchanged shares, generating SAR 1.5 million.

Raydan Co’s stock topped Nomu’s risers after growing 0.5%, closing at SAR 20, with a liquidity of SAR 823,000, whereas Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock fell 2.6% to SAR 12.06.
