Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Thursday 0.07% or 4.69 points higher to reach 7,085.56 points.
Trading volume increased to 127.74 million shares on Thursday from 115.6 million shares on Wednesday, while traded value rose to SAR 2.84 billion from SAR 2.5 billion.
The media, food and staples retailing, retailing, and materials sectors increased 8.8%, 3.7%, 1.7%, and 0.05%, respectively.
On the flipside, the transportation sector fell 1%, followed by the telecommunication services sector with 0.3%, and the banks sector with 0.04%.
Saudi Research and Marketing’s stock topped risers with 9.99%, whereas AXA Cooperative Insurance’s stock led losers with 5.4%.
Al Inma Bank’s stock topped the Tadawul All Share Index’s (TASI) trading after 28.93 million shares were exchanged, generating SAR 465.13 million.
In the meantime, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market levelled up 0.35% or 12.67 points reaching 3,669.31 points.
Nomu’s trading volume went up to 91,340 shares on Thursday against 73,000 shares on Wednesday, whereas traded value tumbled to 1.67 SAR million from SAR 2.4 million.
Raydan Co’s stock, up 2.2%, led Nomu’s trading value with a turnover of SAR 594,570, while Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock topped traded volume after 29,400 shares were exchanged.
On the other hand, Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock decreased 2.5%.
