TASI, Nomu close Wednesday in green

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday 0.11% or 7.63 points higher to reach 7,153.17 points.

The Tadawul All Share Index’s (TASI) trading volume stood at 159.96 million shares on Wednesday against 150.7 million shares on Tuesday, while traded value rose to SAR 3.39 billion from SAR 3.36 billion.

The energy, commercial and professional services, banks, and materials sectors increased 2.7%, 2.3%, 0.11%, and 0.1%, respectively.

On the other hand, the media sector decreased 5.1% and the telecommunication services sector lost 1%.

Nama Chemicals’ stock led risers with 9.9%, whereas the Saudi Research and Marketing Group’s stock was the worst performer with 5.4%.

Al Inma Bank’s stock, closing at SAR 16.40 on Wednesday, led TASI’s trading volume after 23.26 million shares were exchanged, generating SAR 382.65 million.

In the meantime, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market edged up 0.03 points or 0.96% reaching 3,650.94 points.

Nomu’s traded volume grew to 247,450 shares on Wednesday, from 112,850 shares on Tuesday, and trading value soared to SAR 7.88 million, from SAR 3.36 million.

Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock, up 7.9%, topped Nomu’s traded value with a turnover of SAR 4.15 million, and Baazeem Trading’s stock, down 4.2%, was the most active stock in Nomu’s trading volume after 81,210 shares were exchanged.
