Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday 0.38% or 27.53 points lower, reaching 7,200.43 points.
Trading volume dropped to 91.74 million shares on Wednesday against 99.5 million shares on Tuesday, while traded value fell to SAR 2.08 billion ($555 million), from SAR 2.60 billion ($693 million).
The consumer services, banks, telecommunication services, and materials sector tumbled 0.83%, 0.60%, 0.50%, and 0.09%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector levelled up 8.6% and the pharmaceuticals sector went up 0.3%.
National Industrialization Company’s (Tasnee) stock led losers with 4.7%, whereas Saudi Research and Marketing’s stock was the best performer with 9.98%.
Al Inma Bank’s stock shed 0.3% to SAR 16.10 after 19.29 million shares were exchanged, generating SAR 311.73 million.
In the meantime, the Nomu-Parallel Market index decreased 0.8% or 29.65 points to reach 3,655.37 points.
Nomu’s trading volume increased to 74,870 shares on Wednesday against 28,280 shares on Tuesday, while traded value grew to SAR 2.55 million from SAR 550,560.
Development Works Food’s stock retreated 10.9% to SAR 62.80, whereas Arab Sea Information System’s stock slightly rose 2.1% to SAR 12.96.
