Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday 0.4% or 28.4 points lower to reach 7,080.87 points, registering its lowest level since 20 June 2017, or since 42 days.
The Tadawul All Share Index’s (TASI) trading volume stood at 115.6 million shares, generating SAR 2.5 billion.
The media, materials, banks, and telecommunications services sectors tumbled 2.95%, 0.66%, 0.34%, and 0.06%, respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer services sector increased 1.8%.
Middle East Paper Co's (MEPCO) stock retreated 5.2% closing at SAR 16.1 with a traded value of SAR 14.98 million, and National Medical Care Company’s stock dropped 4.9% to SAR 39.2 with a turnover of SAR 50.99 million.
In the meantime, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market decreased 1.67% or 62.2 points reaching 3,656.6 points.
Nomu’s traded volume reached 73,000 shares with a liquidity of SAR 2.4 million.
Raydan Co’s stock levelled down 3.7% to SAR 22.5 and Development Works Food’s stock dropped 2.9% to SAR 66.
