Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in the red after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) decreased 0.09% or 6.49 points to 7,624.68 points.
By 10:35 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 37.5 million shares, through 20,600 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 694.6 million.
The insurance sector fell 3.02% and banks sector inched down 0.15%.
The pharmaceuticals, materials, and telecommunications services sectors increased 0.66%, 0.38%, and 0.32%, respectively.
The Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) stock tumbled 9.96% to SAR 78.60, whereas Tabuk Cement’s stock jumped 9.96% to SAR 14.46.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, plunged 1.9% or 58.3 points to 3,006.96 points.
Al-Omran Industrial Trading and Raydan Co stocks’ levelled down 3.73% to SAR 16 and 3.24% to SAR 15, respectively.
