TASI, Nomu down at Monday's open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Monday in the red after decreasing 14.72 points, or 0.2%, to 7,478.9 points.

By 10:50 am KSA time, TASI’s traded volume reached 22.2 million shares, through 19,780 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 510.5 million.

The banking sector inched down 0.57%, followed by energy with 0.42%, and materials with 0.04%.

On the other hand, the food and staples retailing, media, and telecommunication services sectors increased 0.74%, 0.51%, and 0.34%, respectively.

Banque Saudi Fransi’s (BSF) fell 2.15% to SAR 30.10, whereas City Cement’s stock rose 3.51% to SAR 10.90.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, slipped 2.56 points, or 0.08%, to 3,067.56 points.

Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock tumbled 4.74% to SAR 25.20, whereas the stocks of Arab Sea Information System and Abo Moati for Bookstores levelled up 4.68% and 0.08%, respectively.
